| March 13, 2022 - Safiyya Sarkin, President and Founder of Women Beyond Survival, spoke to 5th and 6th graders on gender equality, a human right from an Islamic perspective and the impact it has in these children. It was held at The Islamic learning Center. The event was spearheaded and implemented by Michelle Asim, WBS' Treasurer and she also heads the Youth Component for WBS. |
